Helen Jenkins Scotland, is a British professional triathlete

Helen Rebecca Jenkins, née Tucker born 8 March 1984 in Elgin, Moray, Scotland, is a British professional triathlete and the 2008 and 2011 ITU World Champion. In 2009 she placed 3rd at the Grand Final of the World Championship Series in Gold Coast, in 2011 she is number 1 in the World Championship Series (August 2011) and thanks to the London World Championship Series gold (6 August 2011) she has secured a spot at the London Olympics 2012.
Helen Tucker was the British Junior Champion of the year 2003 and the Elite Champion of the year 2006, after having been the elite silver medalist of the year 2005. Helen Jenkins also participated in several prestigious non ITU events, in 2009 for instance she won the London Triathlon, which she had already attended in the years 2003, 2004, and 2005, placing 7th, 5th, and 5th respectively.
In 2006 she suffered from an Achilles tendon injury and after a new start in 2007 the ankle injury gave her trouble again. Nevertheless, in 2008 she won the World Championships in Vancouver and placed 21st at the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Helen Jenkins lives in Bridgend, Wales, and on 30 October 2008 she married her friend and coach Marc Jenkins at Disney World in Orlando.

Anna Rawson Magazine cover contest

Rawson was born in Adelaide, Australia. She got her break into a modeling career at age 16, when she was a finalist in the Australian "Dolly" Magazine cover contest. This opened up modeling opportunities on the catwalk, in print ads, magazines, and on television. In 1999 as an amateur golfer in Australia, Rawson was the South Australian and Victoria Junior Champion plus the winner of the Jack Newton International Junior Classic. She was the leading qualifier for the 1999 and 2000 Australian Amateur Championship and was a member of the 1999 Australian National Squad.

She played collegiate golf at the University of Southern California. She was named All-Pac-10 honorable mention in 2001, 2002 and 2004.
She also went to Immanuel College in Novar Gardens, South Australia.

Sarah Kemp Australian soap opera Sons and Daughters

Sarah Kemp is an actress best known for starring in the Australian soap opera Sons and Daughters, playing the highly popular but rather dizzy character, Charlie Bartlett, from 1982 to 1987.
Her real name is Gypsy Kemp but she changed it to Sarah Kemp as when she was young it was such an unusual name. Her first credited role on TV was in the series Shoestring which appeared on BBC television between 1979 and 1980. She played an Australian hitchhiker. Her name appears as Gypsy Kemp in the credits, but in Shoestring she is listed as appearing as Sarah Kemp in The Partnership. She then appeared in Sporting Chance in 1981. Her last credited role was in the TV movie, Mercy Mission: The Rescue of Flight 771 in 1993. Sarah Kemp's parents are English and before Sons and Daughters, her credits include two episodes of Doctor Who entitled Day of the Daleks (1972), and an episode of The Benny Hill Show. She has now quit acting and works as an English teacher.
Kemp ran for the New South Wales Legislative Council in 1999 on the Unity Party ticket.

Caroline Wozniacki seems to realize that more than anything else, she needs a win at one of the tournaments making up the Grand Slam. Her two years as the world No. 1 have seen her fail to win the big show, but earn enough points to hold on to the top spot. Wozniacki looks to be shifting focus with a clear desire to seek the validation that would come with a win at one of the Grand Slam events.

"There are five really big tournaments next year, and I will focus on them," Wozniacki told the Danish newspaper Ekstra Baldet. "I will make every effort to win a Grand Slam title, and a medal at the Olympics."

Northern Ireland's finest, Rory McIlroy, is on the threshold as I write this, of joining an unique group of golfing champions to have won their sports' biggest prize at the youngest age.

The boy from Hollywood, Northern Ireland is in a few hours time, going to step out on the hallowed first tee at the Augusta National, leading the US Masters golfing championship going into the final round.

The boy is only 21 years and 341 days old. He has clearly been for some years, a rising star in the golfing world. He is currently placed at No.9 in the world.

Over the past 2 years, he has shown that on the biggest stage, he has the talent to do very well. In both 2009 and 2010, he has tied for 3rd in the notoriously US dominated PGA Championship and he also tied for 3rd in the 2010 Open Championship. He was also a central member of the victorious European Ryder Cup team last autumn at the Celtic Manor. He has already made $6.2m in career earnings in just 4 years as a professional. The boy is a prodigous talent - and he's a character to go with it.

Afridi's all-round exploits carry Pakistan to win

Allrounder Shahid Afridi took five for 23 and then made 24 not out to lead Pakistan to a five-wicket win over Bangladesh in the first one-day international in Dhaka.

Set a target of 92 runs, Pakistan lost their first five wickets for 63 but Afridi and skipper Misbah-ul Haq (16 not out) kept their cool to steer the side to 93-5.

Afridi, who was dropped on one by Shahriar Nafees off Shakib Al Hasan, shrugged off any jitters and dampened Bangladesh's late excitement by hitting left-arm spinner Shakib for three consecutive fours before his fourth boundary off the bowler ended the match.

"The conditions were perfect for the spinners," Afridi told a news conference. "But it's not that difficult a wicket. If the batsmen want they can survive.

"You can take singles, rotate the strike and play yourself in. Maybe because of T20 cricket now batsmen don't have the temperament," he said.

Earlier, Afridi's sublime bowling gave him his seventh five-wicket haul in one-day internationals as Bangladesh were dismissed for 91 in 30.3 overs after opting to bat first.

Pakistan opening pair Mohammad Hafeez and Imran Farhat reached 36 but four quick wickets in as many overs for eight runs almost derailed the visitors.

Farhat (12) dragged a Nasir Hossain delivery on to his stumps and paceman Rubel Hossain had Hafeez caught by Nafees for 22 in the next over.

Younis Khan and Sarfraz Ahmed both went for two off the bowling of Shakib and Rubel, giving the local crowd something to cheer in the wake of a disappointing batting display.

Pakistan were 58-4 at the break and on resumption Shakib struck again when he bowled Umar Akmal for seven.

Bangladesh had been in danger of being dismissed for less than their previous lowest total against Pakistan of 87 before number 11 batsman Rubel helped them avoid it with his 10-ball 15.

Nasir provided some resistance for Bangladesh with 21 after the home team lost their first five wickets for 31 runs.

Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim was left ruing their batting performance.

"Our top order has not been performing consistently for the last couple of series," said Rahim.

"Even if we had scored 150 today it could have been a different game," he said.

The second match of the three-game series will be held in Dhaka on Saturday.

2003 was another year of progression and saw Isinbayeva win the European Under 23 Championships gold with 4.65 m (in Bydgoszcz). On July 13, 2003, just about a month after her 21st birthday, Isinbayeva set her first World Record at a meeting in Gateshead, England with a height of 4.82 m, which had made her the favourite to take gold at the World Championships the following month. She ended up winning the bronze medal with Feofanova taking gold and Becker the silver.

Hope Solo Is Not Doing The Post-DWTS Press Tour

Hope Solo is having a tough - big time!
The soccer star, who was eliminated Tuesday night Dancing With The Stars, would normally be doing the pretty-routine exit tour that is given to most axed contestants, which includes a spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live the night of boot, and then an interview on the following day's Good Morning America, but due to it being during the semi-final rounds of the competition, the network has instead decided to promote the remaining three contestants - Ricki Lake, Rob Kardashian and J.R. Martinez - before the finale next week!

However, it may in fact be to her benefit, as during her Extra interview, she got choked up and later refused to speak with any press, which, according to her rep, was because she was too "emotional." She's returned home to Seattle until the finale.
